Staff SRE Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re on a mission to bring good, cloud-native engineering practices to security at SoSafe. We are looking for a generalist Staff Engineer to design and build a Security Operations stack using majority AWS native and open source components. We believe that production security data should be useful to product developers as part of a strong DevOps culture, enabling responsible teams to own the security of their services.

In Short

• Lead architecture, design and delivery of a highly automated, cloud-native, developer-friendly Security Operations stack
• Contribute to an excellent cross-organisation incident response processes
• Collaborate with other teams on architectural patterns and best practices for securing multi-tenant SaaS applications
• Integrate endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, and AWS-native security services into the infrastructure
• Contribute to shared Security-team triage rotation

Requirements

• Significant professional experience in DevOps teams supporting SaaS products
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, GitHub/GitOps
• Strong experience of incident response
• Ability to think holistically about user needs, technology and process
• Solid skills with a modern development language such as Python or Go
