Hardware Design Electrical Engineer - Sensors - Remote

Overview

As a Hardware Design Electrical Engineer at Sorcerer, you’ll be responsible for rapidly prototyping and refining atmospheric sensing systems, owning projects from design to flight-testing.

In Short

• Design and develop atmospheric sensing hardware (temperature, pressure, humidity, etc.)
• End-to-end ownership of your projects from idea through testing and manufacture
• Interface closely with outside design partners (limited international travel required)
• Support flight-testing campaigns, debugging technical issues in real-time
• 6+ years of experience designing sensing hardware in industry
• Experience with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, LTSpice)
• Experience developing manufacturing/test equipment for sensors
• Have worked with radiosondes or other atmospheric/weather sensing instruments
• Have experience designing for space or high-altitude systems
• Succeed with a high level of autonomy

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing sensing hardware in industry
