In Short

• Design electrical power distribution and lighting systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Develop detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure coordinated designs.
• Conduct site visits and review documentation to assess project requirements.
• Perform electrical load calculations and fault current analysis using specialized software.
• Select and specify electrical equipment and materials based on project needs.
• Interpret and apply NEC standards and local building codes.
• Review submittals and support construction administration as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends to improve design output.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial buildings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
• Knowledge of SKM Power Tools, EasyPower, AGI32 is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and design best practices.
• Familiarity with NEC and relevant building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
