Overview

The Senior Cloud Architect will support the IT Central Services in shaping the 'Managed Cloud Service' product, focusing on cloud architecture governance and best practices.

In Short

• Oversee cloud architecture governance and develop principles and standards.
• Support the design and development of the Managed Cloud Service architecture.
• Prototype high-level designs regarding performance, costs, and security.
• Align business needs with product/IT strategy and select suitable solutions.
• Implement regulatory requirements in the finance and insurance sectors.
• Identify and assess risks in collaboration with information security.
• Assist with complex customer inquiries regarding multiple products/services.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with extensive experience as an IT Architect.
• In-depth knowledge of the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience with microservice architectures and security/governance concepts.
• Hands-on experience in developing cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of current technology trends in the cloud sector.
• Ability to work independently and customer-focused.
• Good to very good German and English language skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Work primarily from home with occasional onsite presence in Nürnberg.
