On-Board Software Engineer - 9-Month Contract - Remote

Overview

As an On-Board Software Engineer, you will help deliver solutions for satellite-based systems that connect and observe our planet, while also supporting spacecraft communication.

In Short

• Define and monitor the embedded software development cycle.
• Define software specifications from system specifications.
• Design software architecture.
• Prioritize and assign software activities using Agile methodology.
• Coordinate with system, hardware, and firmware engineering teams.
• Lead the creation of technical documentation.
• Participate in software development milestones with customers.
• Engage in bid proposals.

Requirements

• Degree in software engineering, telecommunication engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development.
• Knowledge of the V development cycle.
• Understanding of complete systems including embedded software.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of the ECSS process.
• Fluency in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
