Overview

The Global Accounting Compliance Systems Accountant at Sophos will play a crucial role in maintaining financial control systems and supporting compliance across global operations.

• Responsible for system administration support for financial control software.
• Perform BAU tasks for financial control systems.
• Conduct regular user audits and system reconciliations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Support statutory compliance and audit requirements.
• Business partnering with key stakeholders.
• Document processes and procedures.
• Provide analytical commentary on general ledger accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation.

Requirements

• Proficient in Excel and Office 365 applications.
• Hands-on experience in accounting and finance control processes.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting and local GAAP.
• Experience with large data analysis.
• Business partnering experience.
• Experience with SAP, Onestream, Zuora, and Pagero is desirable.
• Familiarity with direct and indirect taxes.
• Experience in documenting processes.
• Systems administration experience.
• SOX experience is a plus.
