Accounting Compliance Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Compliance Analyst will manage daily accounting procedures, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support internal control initiatives within the finance department.

In Short

• Management of daily, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
• Support SOX compliance and internal control procedures.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement new accounting controls and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and assessments.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
• Effective communication skills required for cross-functional team collaboration.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry is preferred.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Sage and other ERP software packages.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
