Design Engineer (Marketing) - Remote

Overview

As a Design Engineer at Sonia, you’ll be responsible for creating user-centric, conversion-optimized designs that not only look great but perform. This role combines design excellence with technical execution to craft consistent and compelling experiences across the entire user journey.

In Short

• Design and launch high-converting landing pages and marketing funnels
• Create visual assets for ads, campaigns, and brand communication
• Optimize checkout and onboarding flows for maximum conversion
• Write and refine UI copy to guide users and support product messaging
• Translate ideas into prototypes and polished user interfaces (Figma to code)
• Implement designs using React, TypeScript, and CSS
• Collaborate closely with marketing to ensure consistent branding and messaging
• Work independently, take ownership of quality and iterate quickly based on feedback

Requirements

• Proficiency in English (C1+)
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX, landing pages, and responsive web design
• Ability to implement designs in code (JavaScript, TypeScript, React)
• Deep experience with Figma, GitHub, CSS/HTML
• Demonstrated ability to design and ship complete flows from idea to launch
• Structured thinking, strong sense for user behavior and visual hierarchy
