Raw Material Planner - Remote

Overview

The Raw Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely supply of materials to the plant for uninterrupted production processing and servicing customers at a best-in-class level.

In Short

• Plan short- and long-term supply and demand to support inventory needs.
• Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders and vendors.
• Monitor movement of materials through various stages.
• Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory.
• Resolve raw material shortages.
• Liaise with local material coordinators for day-to-day planning.
• Optimize material availability and inventory management.
• Design tools to improve supply chain planning functions.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers for quality and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience in operational planning or similar roles.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Excellent business English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Accountability and a continuous improvement attitude.
• SAP, APO, MRP training on functional areas of expertise.
• APICS Module I training is preferred.
