Software Engineer with a Focus on Algorithm Development - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys complex algorithms and technological challenges to work in an innovative environment on the future of modern system environments.

In Short

• Develop and implement modern algorithms for real-time processing of acoustic data in demanding system environments.
• Apply methods for filtering, pattern recognition, and AI-supported analysis to optimally evaluate acoustic information.
• Program high-performance software components, including performance optimization regarding runtime and memory requirements under real-time conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to successfully integrate and secure robust software solutions.
• Document, analyze, and validate developed components according to structured quality criteria.

Requirements

• A completed degree in (Technical) Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in software development, especially focusing on algorithmic processes and data processing.
• Very good knowledge of C++ and proficiency with tools like UML, CMake, GCC, and MSVC.
• Familiarity with Linux as a development environment.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and ideally with distributed systems or BDD (Behaviour Driven Development).
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• A systematic, analytical, and solution-oriented approach with a high degree of responsibility.
