In Short

• Collecting and processing data on sporting events, odds, player statistics
• Development and implementation of risk forecasting models
• Assessing data reliability and identifying anomalies
• Preparing analytical reports for risk managers and strategists
• Interaction with the team and decision-making based on data analysis

Requirements

• Statistical analysis and mathematical models - understanding of probabilistic methods and risk models
• Programming - proficiency in Python, SQL and machine learning tools
• Working with big data - processing and analysing large amounts of information on sporting events, bookmaker odds and trends
• Financial analytics - understanding of risk management and probabilistic modelling principles
• BI tools - Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation platforms.
• Sports analytics - knowledge of the specifics of different sports and factors affecting results
