Overview

As an Underwriting Manager, you will hire, manage, and onboard a team of Underwriters for the Home Equity Loans team.

• Allocate underwriting authority for staff.
• Assist with the review and approval process for complex cases.

Requirements

• 8+ years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading a Mortgage Underwriting Team.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and FDIC regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products and services.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong motivation and management skills.
• Critical decision-making skills.
• Technical proficiency with Encompass and Microsoft Office.
• Effective time management skills.
