Medical Director, Clinical Science - Remote

Overview

The Medical Director, Clinical Science is responsible for Sobi’s clinical development activities on a product/indication and serves as scientific and medical expert on matters relating to the assigned development program including operational, regulatory and drug safety.

In Short

• Provide clinical, scientific, and strategic input to clinical development plans and activities.
• Act as Medical Director responsible for Sobi-sponsored studies.
• Plan, design, conduct, and report Sobi-sponsored studies.
• Collaborate with the Medical Development Team and Clinical Study Team(s).
• Interact with key opinion leaders and lead advisory boards.
• Develop clinical study protocols and reports.
• Provide strategic and operational clinical development expertise.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and responses to Health Authority’s questions.
• Support other functions within Sobi on specific therapeutic areas.
• Model the highest scientific and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Medical Degree required.
• At least 4 years clinical experience treating patients.
• 10 years of experience in drug development programs.
• Experience with sirolimus and uricase enzymes preferred.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Team player with high personal and scientific integrity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a matrix, cross-functional setting.
• Ability to work independently and in a virtual environment.
