Senior Director of Clinical Science - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Director, Clinical Science, is a key member of our clinical development team, contributing to and providing leadership on the development and execution of the clinical strategy for current and future clinical programs.

• Establishes the clinical science competency built on a positive organizational culture.
• Manages a team of Clinical Scientists and leads multidisciplinary teams.
• Represents Clinical Development in leadership and governance meetings.
• Partners with Medical Directors and R&D colleagues to advance drug development.
• Leads and supports cross-functional clinical development teams.
• Builds relationships with external partners and represents the company to health authorities.
• Responsible for team strategy, resource planning, and talent development.
• Remains up to date on regulations and scientific advances.
• Facilitates collaboration with Translational Medicine.
• Manages timely review of study data.

Requirements

• MD/OD/PhD in related life science discipline preferred.
• 8+ years of clinical development experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Experience in drug development and clinical data analysis.
• Experience interacting with clinical investigators and medical experts.
