Overview

The Lead Engineer for the Technical Services Organization will oversee the Capital Projects Delivery Process for Sweet Baked Snacks, driving initiatives aligned with company strategy while ensuring timely execution and a focus on continuous improvement.

Lead plant Capital Projects Delivery Process.
Ensure timely execution of all project phases.
Drive cost-effective resolutions across teams.
Manage project schedules and budgets.
Communicate project status to upper management.
Coach and develop Operational Process Engineers.
Work with operations and product development teams.
Perform physical work on manufacturing floor as needed.
Maintain safety, quality, cost, and schedule standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's of Engineering degree.
5+ years of experience in project or construction management.
Understanding of the Capital Delivery Process.
Ability to organize and prioritize actions effectively.
High level of professional maturity and confidentiality.
Proven ability to work independently and in teams.
Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
Experience managing capital budgets of $10-$15 million.
Ability to coach and train others.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
