QA Automation Tester - Remote

Overview

The QA Automation Tester will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of changes to the core product at Smile Digital Health, contributing to the goal of #BetterGlobalHealth.

• Identify and automate critical and repetitive test cases.
• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate to triage and resolve bugs.
• Develop and execute automation scripts in an Agile model.
• Document results and identify root causes.
• Understand project context, objectives, and use cases.
• Mentor new team members and support QA Lead(s).
• Ensure accurate tracking of billable hours in Netsuite.
• Participate in standups and planning meetings.
• Contribute to the culture of quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in automation software testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools like RestAssured and Selenium.
• Deep understanding of backend services and API testing.
• Proficient in Java for test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
