Overview

Slash is looking for a Short-Form Video Editor who lives and breathes TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll help us take our long-form entrepreneur interviews and product walkthroughs and cut them into highly engaging, high-performing short-form content.

In Short

• Take long-form entrepreneur interviews and product walkthroughs and cut them into dynamic, highly shareable short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit short-form ad content optimized for Meta, YouTube, and Google campaigns.
• Collaborate on product launches—occasionally supporting shoots and editing supporting videos.
• Deliver fast, high-quality edits with strong storytelling and engaging pacing.

Requirements

• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve required (we use DaVinci Cloud Editing for collaboration).
• Ability to handle color grading, sound design, and all elements of post-production.
• Premiere Pro is acceptable but will be deprioritized.
• Strong portfolio of short-form edits showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
• You’re a junior or mid-level editor with undeniable talent for short-form storytelling.
• You can take direction but also bring your own creative ideas to the table.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and can iterate quickly on feedback.
