Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) - Remote

In Short

• Develop new features and improvements for our products and services securely and well-tested, following company guidelines.
• Write detailed technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Ensure code style, maintainability, and best practices.
• Provide mentorship to Junior Engineers on your team to help them develop their technical skills and remove obstacles to their autonomy.
• Launch features and improvements of moderate size with minimal guidance and support from other team members.

Requirements

• Essential: English B2 or higher.
• 4+ years of experience in software design and rack application development with Ruby and JavaScript.
• Experience creating microservices and consumption APIs.
• Solid knowledge and professional experience in software engineering and best practices for the complete software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in writing and distributing large-scale distributed systems and high-quality client-server architectures.
• Able to effectively communicate technical ideas and collaborate with technical and non-technical peers.
• Considered:
• Previous experience working with GCP.
• Experience working with Kafka and/or Pub/Sub.
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of common algorithms and data structures.
