The Data Engineer will implement, operate, and further develop a modern cloud data platform based on Azure, focusing on data integration and analytics.

  • Conducting data quality analyses and deriving measures for improvement.
  • Contributing to data governance strategies including data catalogs and access control.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in the development of modern cloud data platforms, especially with Azure.
  • Solid knowledge of modern data pipeline technologies and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Good understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Customer orientation and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Python in data contexts, advanced SQL skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in German and English.
