SecOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The L2 SecOps Engineer will assist in advancing security measures in cloud-native environments and driving automation within security processes, contributing to the security of Showpad's infrastructure, products, and operations.

In Short

• Collaborate with teams to ensure security best practices are integrated.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist in managing the CNAPP solution.
• Monitor and respond to security events.
• Conduct vulnerability management activities.
• Contribute to security automation within development workflows.
• Assist in security posture management of cloud environments.
• Help teams adopt best practices in the SSDLC.
• Participate in risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in information security.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with security tools for vulnerability management.
• Good scripting or development skills.
• Understanding of incident response principles.
• Solid understanding of web application security principles.
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks.
• Awareness of phishing and social engineering mitigation strategies.
• Strong English communication skills.
