Staff Technical Product Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Technical Product Manager at Shippo, you will develop and execute a strategic roadmap for our Tracking, Address, and Reconciliation products, ensuring high-quality APIs that meet the needs of our customers.

In Short

• Lead development of tracking, address, and reconciliation products.
• Ensure APIs meet quality standards for shippers.
• Conduct research on customer pain points and shipping strategies.
• Develop a long-term roadmap backed by market analysis.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams for scalable solutions.
• Understand and own the shipping domain to empathize with merchants.
• Support engineering during incidents to confirm product behaviors.
• Build insights and analytics from historic data for future prioritization.
• Communicate effectively across various audiences.
• Wear many hats and collaborate across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• 2+ years of experience with external-facing API products.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies.
• 2+ years as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Proven track record of delivering products end-to-end.
• Ability to think strategically and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience with eCommerce order fulfillment is a plus.
• Experience with parcel carrier integrations is a plus.
