Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a member of the ShipBob Team, you will be an integral part of the finance team responsible for the preparation of financial forecasts, perform detailed margin variance analysis, create operational performance reporting, and build board/investor materials.

In Short

• Complete research on the P&L each month.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plan.
• Collaborate with partners to strategize and report on weekly performance.
• Connect with revenue and merchant success teams to build forecasts.
• Provide insightful study of key operational business metrics.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related degree.
• 3-6 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or related field.
• Excellent financial modeling skills.
• High comfort level with Netsuite, Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
• Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to think critically about business challenges.
