Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting processes to help drive informed business decisions at insightsoftware.

In Short

• Research and explain financial statement forecasts.
• Collaborate with leaders to create annual budgets.
• Provide ad-hoc financial support to managers.
• Assist in month-end reporting and board presentations.
• Create and maintain performance dashboards.
• Ensure reporting accuracy through reconciliations.
• Own financial analysis and reporting for designated areas.
• Manage functional headcount budget approvals.
• Review functional performance during monthly accounting close.
• Work independently with high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of FP&A or similar experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with financial planning and accounting concepts.
• Passion for analyzing large data sets.
• Proactive and accountable with intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred.
• Prior experience in a software company preferred.
