Senior Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a member of the ShipBob Team, you will be responsible for providing insights through detailed reports for internal stakeholders and external customers. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.

In Short

• Design, build and maintain Excel and Power BI dashboards for data visualization.
• Gain an understanding of business processes to capture and translate business requirements.
• Collect and evaluate business data to recommend changes for improvement.
• Automate queries and data processes to enhance productivity.
• Develop processes for maintaining clean data within the database.
• Perform ad hoc research and data requests as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or similar.
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
• Experience with Python preferred.
• Critical thinking skills to address business challenges.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic.
• Passion for results and attention to detail.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
• Familiarity with ecommerce or retail environments preferred.
