Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

Shift Technology is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team, focusing on managing and ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations across the Americas.

In Short

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for international subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Manage multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange gains/losses.
• Develop best practices for international accounting processes.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Provide recommendations to enhance financial systems.
• Partner with leaders on projects requiring high-quality work.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
• 8+ years of experience in international accounting is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized with good accounting logic.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
