Patient Outreach Coordinator (Pharmacy Technician) - Remote

Overview

The Patient Outreach Coordinator is responsible for proactively growing the specialty pharmacy patient population by making outbound calls to eligible patients and educating them about the services offered by the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program.

• Access and review patient EMR before calls.
• Identify special handling medications and necessary supplies.

Requirements

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related field preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and phone skills.
• Ability to engage and empathize with patients.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail and results-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Prior customer service or outbound call experience.
