In Short

• Prepare month-end procedures, including income journals, occupancy and rate journals, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accrual schedules and generate Profit and Loss statements with variance commentary.
• Reconcile Balance Sheets, GST, and cash flow.
• Manage key income and expense categories.
• Assist Property Managers with account reviews, annual budgets, and forecasts.
• Process corporate credit cards and review GST claims.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety obligations.
• Contribute to ad hoc reporting for the Finance team.
• Engage in social impact activities.
• Achieve work-life balance and flexibility.

Requirements

• Business (Accounting) degree or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in property and corporate accounting.
• Close to achieving CA/CPA Accreditation.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statements.
• Proficiency in accounting software like Xero or MYOB.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
