The Chief Operating Officer at Shah & Associates CPAs PA is responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency to support the firm's growth, allowing the CEO to focus on vision and strategy.

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 8 members.
• Drive operational excellence and accountability.
• Scale the organization to 15+ employees.
• Implement systems for improved efficiency and performance.
• Achieve a 50% profit margin on Annual Recurring Revenue.
• Document and consolidate Standard Operating Procedures.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships.
• Establish clear KPIs for team performance.
• Work closely with the CEO to define operational strategies.
• Contribute to client success and retention initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years in operations within professional services.
• Demonstrated track record of executing strategies effectively.
• Experience managing teams and holding members accountable.
• Strong systems thinking and process improvement skills.
• Ability to work hands-on and manage daily operations.
• Stable work history with a focus on results.
• Experience in scaling businesses from $2M to $10M.
• Must have worked remotely before.
• Must be based in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.

• Base salary of $190,000 - $200,000.
