Kubernetes DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Kubernetes DevOps Engineer will focus on the architecture and development of on-demand Kubernetes environments, primarily working remotely with minimal onsite presence required in Hamburg.

In Short

• Responsible for the design and implementation of Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and optimize automation processes for infrastructure deployment.
• Implement features using Go/Golang and Python, including Ansible Playbooks.
• Maintain and update Kubernetes clusters.
• Evaluate new technologies for integration into existing systems.
• Provide training and support to users on Kubernetes services.
• Participate in agile workshops and planning meetings with the DevOps team.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem and container architectures.
• Strong skills in Go/Golang and Python; experience with GitLab CI/CD is a plus.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, AWX, or similar tools.
• Proficient in Linux and knowledgeable in VMware.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong consulting skills, technical communication, and presentation abilities.
• Fluent in German (minimum C1 level).
• At least 5 years of residency in Germany.
