Overview

The Senior Certification Auditor at SGS will conduct third-party audits according to SGS procedures and relevant standards, making critical decisions during the audit process.

• Perform audits in accordance with SGS procedures and IATF 16949 standards.
• Manage the SGS Certification Management System.
• Lead teams of auditors during audit activities.
• Decide on registration based on audit evidence.
• Gain diverse audit experience across SGS's accredited activities.
• Assist in training auditors and lead auditors.
• Participate in witness audits by SGS or accreditation bodies.
• Maintain all necessary audit credentials.
• Adhere to internal standards and policies.
• Potential assignments against other standards like ISO 9001:2015.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• Qualified Lead Auditor accredited against IATF 16949.
• Completion of an approved IATF 16949 Auditor/Lead Auditor course.
• Experience in the automotive sector.
• Knowledge of recognized ISO standards.
