LCA & GHG Senior Specialist - Remote

Overview

SGS is looking for a person to join as an LCA & GHG Senior Specialist in the ESG (LCA & Environment) team at our Milan office.

In Short

• Perform verification activities in EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) / CFP (Carbon Footprint) and greenhouse gas inventories.
• Provide technical support and consultancy in LCA and GHG projects.
• Support the manager and sales and marketing team in identifying new market strategies.
• Prepare reports, case studies, data, graphs, and content development.
• Draft technical project documents.
• Assist the project leader and ESG manager in drafting technical and project proposals.
• Translate technical and operational requirements into pragmatic actions and Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, industrial chemistry, natural sciences, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in LCA/GHG and developing LCA/CFP/EPD studies, GHG inventories, and decarbonization projects.
• Willingness to travel based on project needs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Fluent knowledge of English and the local language is an advantage.
