Overview

The Final Reviewer & Certification Decision Maker at SGS is responsible for reviewing audit packs for compliance with medical device regulations and making certification decisions.

In Short

• Review audit packs for compliance with MDD 93/42 EC or MDR (EU) 2017/745.
• Verify audit documentation for QMS and technical assessments.
• Ensure final review documentation is completed satisfactorily.
• Make decisions on certification based on audit findings.
• Collaborate with auditors and product assessors.
• Maintain compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Support Certificate Decision Makers in their roles.
• Report on daily workload and technical issues.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Work in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar position in a European notified body.
• Significant work experience in the medical device field.
• Detailed understanding of global medical device regulations.
• Good communication and team building skills.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a benefit.
