Overview

As a Senior Linux System Engineer (L3) at ServerHub, you will ensure our hosting platforms are optimized, secure, and always online, acting as the final escalation point for complex server and network issues.

In Short

• Act as the final escalation point for server and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve critical system failures and performance issues.
• Manage and secure Linux-based hosting environments.
• Administer web servers and databases.
• Develop automation scripts for server provisioning.
• Deploy and manage cloud and virtualization environments.
• Implement security best practices and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Set up and manage monitoring tools.
• Work closely with NOC, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
• Provide guidance to junior support engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of web hosting technologies.
• Strong scripting ability in Perl, Bash, and Python.
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Networking expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.
• Familiarity with RAID, SAN, and distributed storage systems.
• Experience in a 24/7 production environment.
• Ability to build and configure servers from scratch.
• Certifications like RHCE or AWS Certified SysOps are a plus.
