Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the company’s accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and compliance with company policies.

• Overseeing financial statement preparation and ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Review, classify, and record expenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, NetSuite).
• Knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Strong understanding of SOX compliance processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
