Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Unique Loom is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the month end close process and ensure accounts are reconciled timely and accurately in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

In Short

• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
• Produce error-free accounting reports.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems.
• Prepare financial statements and budgets.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Direct internal and external audits.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets and inventory schedules.
• Support accounting manager with SOP documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• GAAP knowledge required.
• Inventory accounting experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Netsuite experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel required.
