Overview

The GIS DBA Specialist is responsible for supporting the GIS Unit's enterprise database development and administration efforts, focusing on GIS database development, enhancement, and maintenance.

In Short

• Support GIS database development and administration.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in GIS database administration.
• Knowledge of conceptual modeling of systems and databases.
• Experience with geospatial data administration.
• Understanding of Esri data types and SDE.
• Familiarity with geospatial metadata concepts.
• Technical writing skills are highly desired.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with data governance.
• Basic understanding of database technologies.
