We are currently searching for a Senior Specialist – Oracle Database Performance Tuning:

In Short

• Manage and maintain Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Perform advanced Oracle database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Monitor database health, conduct backups and recovery, and implement disaster recovery strategies.
• Analyze and optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization.
• Understand and interpret execution plans, providing recommendations for query and database optimization.
• Collaborate and communicate with DBAs to implement performance tuning strategies and convince stakeholders of optimization solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
• Ensure database security compliance and maintain data integrity across environments.
• Lead data migration and modernization efforts, including cloud migration initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics and proactively implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Implement and enforce best practices for database governance, security, and compliance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects and analysts, to ensure data quality and availability.
• Participate in technical interviews and evaluations for Oracle DBA positions as a senior resource.

Requirements

• 7 to 11 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Deep expertise in performance tuning and query optimization for Oracle databases.
• Strong ability to analyze SQL execution plans and provide detailed optimization strategies.
• Experience with PL/SQL development and complex query optimization.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with DBAs and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in cloud migration projects is a plus.
• Solid understanding of database security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Leadership skills to guide database modernization and optimization initiatives.
