Overview

The Senior IT Specialty Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day support and optimization of software applications, analyzing business and clinical needs, and providing recommendations to enhance processes and reduce costs.

In Short

  • Manage day-to-day support and optimization of software applications.
  • Analyze business and clinical needs for software enhancements.
  • Develop system test plans and perform testing of upgrades.
  • Maintain records of test progress and results.
  • Provide daily on-call support for application-related issues.
  • Oversee smaller projects or components of larger projects.
  • Coordinate project planning around software releases.
  • Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.
  • Possess key certifications relevant to supported systems.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree or 7+ years without a degree.
  • Epic Professional Billing Certification is required.
  • 10 years of experience in professional billing preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of job areas typically obtained through education and experience.
