The Patient Care Technician provides patient care and supports both independent and dependent activities of daily living under the direction of a professional RN nurse in an oncology unit.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Completion of a relevant certification program (CNA, MA, etc.).
  • Current enrollment in a clinical program is acceptable.
  • Experience as a Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant preferred.
  • Basic Life Support Certification needed.
  • Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
  • Ability to document and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety practices in patient care.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts.
