Overview

The Patient Care Technician provides essential patient care and support under the direction of a professional RN nurse, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a diverse medical environment.

In Short

  • Provide patient care and support for daily living activities.
  • Monitor and document patients' conditions accurately.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Completion of a relevant certification program or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and education.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
  • Understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
