Overview

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring a full time Medical Staff Coordinator to join our Credentialing Team. The Medical Staff Affairs Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all administrative and operational activities associated with the medical staff of the hospital.

• Work with Quality Management and Peer Review teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.
• At least 3 years of credentialing experience.
• Strong understanding of medical staff compliance and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in healthcare administration.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards.
• Proficiency in medical staff governance documents.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
