Senior Node Developer - Remote

Overview

The position is for a Senior Node Developer at Sensedia, a leader in the API market, focused on developing microservices and APIs for a major client in the payment industry.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Node.js.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Ability to work with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or Koa.js.
• Understanding of Promises, Async/Await, Event Loop, Streams, and Worker Threads.
• Experience in deploying applications using Node, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of message queue patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or IBM MQ).
• Experience with Oracle and MongoDB databases.
• Knowledge of data modeling and optimizing queries.
• Experience in implementing authentication with JWT, OAuth, or OAuth2.
• Good security practices (CORS, SQL Injection, XSS).
• Experience with automated testing, unit tests, and end-to-end integration tests.
• Familiarity with tools like Jest, Mocha, Chai, and Supertest.
• Version control experience with GIT.
