Overview

The Software Developer will be responsible for developing software to accommodate any additional requirements for clients as well as modifying existing software that might contain errors or require an upgrade.

In Short

Review current systems.
Present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.
Work closely with consultants.
Produce detailed specifications and write the program codes.
Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.
Integrate software components and third-party programs.
Verify and deploy programs and systems.
Gather and evaluate user feedback.

Requirements

Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
Awareness and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Keep abreast and remain updated of existing and new technologies.
Perform other duties as requested by the HOD.
