Overview

The Senior Compliance Engineer will ensure compliance with national and international standards and contribute to the development of innovative products.

In Short

  • Coordinate and track compliance tests with third-party testing and certification bodies.
  • Ensure regulatory product approvals by demonstrating compliance with standards.
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory requirements in relevant markets.
  • Support the product development process to identify certification requirements and avoid potential obstacles.
  • Conduct risk analyses and develop countermeasures.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to enhance efficiency and ensure safe, reliable products.
  • Collaborate closely with the certification team and participate in cross-team projects.
  • Promote a positive and supportive corporate culture.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering (Bachelor/Master) or a comparable qualification.
  • Solid knowledge in electronics and electrical engineering.
  • Experience with low voltage systems (< 1000 V).
  • Proven experience in compliance, certification processes, product development, or testing of electrical products.
  • Knowledge in battery, photovoltaic systems, or power supplies is an advantage.
  • Independent, systematic, and results-oriented working style.
  • Experience with relevant standards (e.g., EN 50549, VDE AR-N 4105, IEEE 1547) and working with national/international regulatory bodies.
  • Desirable: Knowledge in Python, GitLab, and automation tools.
  • Fluent English skills.
