Electrical Engineer (Mid - Sr. Level) - Remote

Overview

Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Electrical Engineer (Mid - Sr. Level) to work Remotely within the U.S. This position takes responsibility for all electrical engineering and specifications of apparatuses installed on industrial machinery and industrial sites, from design through factory and site commissioning.

In Short

• Participate in the design, development, and integration of control systems.
• Work at the system and component level for industrial control systems.
• Responsible for selection and procurement of electrical equipment.
• Create construction documents for industrial control panel manufacturers.
• Ensure compliance with UL508A and NFPA standards.
• Work individually and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Comply with safety and HazMat practices.
• Demonstrate passion for solving engineering challenges.
• Maintain good organization skills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Five or more years’ industry experience in control and automation systems.
• Experience with PLCs and motor controls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal, Eplan, and SKM Analysis.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
