Sr. Electrical Engineer - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is currently looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer in the GTA offices, however the role is potentially open to remote work, within the Canadian landscape. The Sr. Electrical Engineer role will lead electrical building design from concept and detail design, to construction support, for projects across our offices such as industrial, civic, commercial and more.

In Short

• Lead electrical building design for various projects.
• Prepare electrical designs and drawings using CAD tools.
• Identify cost-effective design solutions.
• Lead electrical design teams on multi-discipline projects.
• Liaise with project managers and other disciplines.
• Create and present technical reports.
• Ensure necessary coordination with other disciplines.
• Work within Design & Engineering teams.
• Contribute to sustainable design solutions.
• Empower team members to maximize impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical systems design.
• Eligibility for P. Eng. designation in Ontario.
• Strong skills in Revit modeling.
• Experience with various building systems.
• Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
