Remote Project Manager

Overview

Security Finance is hiring a Remote Project Manager!

In Short

• Be responsible for management of project plans, status reports, scope, timeline, resources, budget, risk management, documentation, and issue management.
• Communicate effectively within the team and cross-functionally to ensure transparency of the project’s status, risks, timeline, budget, and resources.
• Drive accountability with team members to ensure project goals are met on time, in scope, and in budget.
• Remove obstacles/blockers for the project team and protect the team from non-prioritized work and scope creep.
• Champion change by communicating key information including goals, project plan, status, benefits, risks, issues, and changes.
• Manage scope, timeline, and budget.
• Ensure sponsors and key stakeholders are well informed on progress, blockers, risks, and changes.

Requirements

• Experience in leading and managing projects and project teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communicator with all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized with the ability to see/understand the big picture and details.
• Proven business judgment including knowing when to make a decision vs. escalate.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, budgets, risk, scope, and resources effectively.
• Strong Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Project Management tracking tool(s).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Preferred: Project Management or Agile Certification (i.e. PMP, CSM).
