Senior MySQL Database Developer (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced MySQL database developer to strengthen our team and significantly contribute to the further development of our database systems. In this role, you will take on various tasks ranging from developing new database logics to ensuring data integrity and security.

In Short

• Part of the database development team, developing new database logics and designs.
• Implement and optimize processes and workflows through your ideas and experience.
• Create queries and evaluations based on the data.
• Develop procedures and functions, ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
• Conduct performance optimizations and fix errors.
• Actively shape our work processes to enhance team efficiency.
• Implement maintenance strategies, archiving splits, and a structured data pipeline including fixtures and migrations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in database development and management.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database design.
• Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Continuous learning about current developments in database technology and established best practices.
• Flexibility and adaptability regarding the team's coding standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in German and good English.
