Backend Developer - Remote

Overview

This position is for a Backend Developer in a company that creates an international yacht marketplace with strong internal automation, working at the intersection of travel and technology.

In Short

• Support and develop the yacht catalog by importing data from APIs and non-standard sources.
• Integrate new suppliers and synchronize offers.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data collection, processing, and loading.
• Work with queues (RabbitMQ or similar) for asynchronous processes.
• Optimize search in Elasticsearch.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Symfony.
• Write utilities in Python for web scraping and data processing as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in PHP development (Symfony).
• Experience with integrations with external APIs.
• Understanding of queue operation principles.
• Experience with Docker and Elasticsearch.
• Basic Python and web scraping skills are a plus.
• Experience interacting with frontend frameworks (Vue.js, Nuxt) is a plus.
