Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. As a DevOps engineer at Scribe, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and monitoring our cloud native infrastructure on AWS, along with supporting engineering teams develop new products and features.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services on AWS.
• Write infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Work alongside engineering teams to optimize performance and reliability.
• Identify and remediate infrastructure issues using monitoring tools.
• Create and maintain runbooks and documentation for stakeholders.
• 7+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in writing infrastructure as code.
• Experience with observability tooling.

Requirements

• Core understanding of DevOps and SRE principles.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to startup needs.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services, especially EKS and RDS/Aurora.
• Experience with widely-used CNCF projects.
• Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability tooling.
• Database administration experience preferred.
• Experience with AI training infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience with message brokers is a plus.
